Stars Rumors: 3 Offseason Suitors for Matt Duchene

The Dallas Stars struck gold when they signed Matt Duchene this offseason. After being bought out by the Nashville Predators, Duchene has responded with an excellent season and is setting himself up for a nice payday for his next deal because of it. The Stars are likely to try to keep him around, but if he hits the market. look for these three teams to try to sign him.

Boston Bruins: The Boston Bruins are surely going to try to sign a top-six center this offseason. It is a big need that they have, and Duchene has the potential to be a nice fix for it. He could work wonderfully centering superstar winger David Pastrnak due to his playmaking skills.

Washington Capitals: The Washington Capitals are likely going to try to add to their roster this offseason. After trading Evgeny Kuznetsov at the deadline, there would be wise to sign a center this offseason. Duchene would be a big-time addition to their top six and provide their power play with a boost.

St. Louis Blues: The St. Louis Blues could use more help in their top six, and they could look at Duchene because of it. He would work on one of their top two lines, as he can play both down the middle and on the wing. Thus, look for St. Louis to try to get him.
