Devils Rumors: Tyler Toffoli Heading to 1 of 4 Teams

The New Jersey Devils said they weren't shopping Tyler Toffoli last week, now it sounds like a trade is in the works. Toffoli was held out of Thursday's game vs the St Louis Blues and will be traded by GM Tom Fitzgerald. Where to? One of three destinations from the sounds of it.

Look for the Vancouver Canucks, Vegas Golden Knights, Colorado Avalanche and Winnipeg Jets to be in a bidding war on Friday morning as each team looks to add Toffoli to their top-six. He's a proven winner who has shown up for the big moments in the past and this season, he's once again showing he's not slowing down any time soon.

Toffoli is owed $4.25 million against the cap and there's going to be salary retention in play for this deal to work with any team. The Devils are willing to eat some $$, if it means the pot is sweetened, which from the looks of trades around the league, won't be an issue.

***Update -Toffoli moved to the Jets for two draft picks

Toffoli has recorded 44 points in 61 games and does not have any trade protection. Here's the very latest on the Toffoli trade front, as of Fri 8:30am:
