Sharks Rumors: 3 Free Agents to Target This Offseason

Welcome to NHL Trade Rumors' 2024 Free-Agent Targets series. During it, we will be discussing three pending unrestricted free agents that each team should aim to sign.

In this latest edition of the series, we will be looking at the San Jose Sharks. While the Sharks are rebuilding, they are still likely to add to their roster this summer, as they have several pending UFAs.

Matt Dumba: There was plenty of speculation that the Sharks were among the suitors for Matt Dumba this past offseason before he signed with the Arizona Coyotes. With San Jose needing some serious help on the right side of their defense, it would not be surprising if they tried to add him again this upcoming offseason.

Anthony Beauvillier: The Sharks would be wise to take a chance on a player like Anthony Beauvillier this offseason. The skilled forward is having a down season but could bounce back next campaign when he has a clean slate when looking at his past success. With the Sharks rebuilding, they are in a position to sign him to a one-year deal.

Alex Nedeljkovic: The Sharks are likely to add a goalie this offseason. Alex Nedeljkovic is a netminder whom they could take a shot on, as he has had past success. He could form a decent 1A/1B tandem with Mackenzie Blackwood.
