Canucks Rumors: 3 Offseason Suitors for Dakota Joshua

Vancouver Canucks forward Dakota Joshua is having a strong 2023-24, posting 16 goals to go along with 30 points in 59 games. When noting that he is a pending UFA, he is gearing himself up for a nice contract this offseason. If the Canucks are unable to re-sign him, look for these three teams to look to add him in free agency this offseason.

Detroit Red Wings: The Detroit Red Wings are a club that could look to add Joshua this offseason. There is no question that they could use a skilled forward who also provides toughness and physicality to their top nine, so expect them to be in the mix.

Pittsburgh Penguins: The Pittsburgh Penguins are going to make some changes to their roster this offseason. There should be spots available in their top nine because of it, and they would be wise to take a shot at landing Joshua. There's no question that they could use more secondary scoring.

Philadelphia Flyers: The Philadelphia Flyers should be looking to improve their roster this offseason. While they are still rebuilding, bringing in younger UFAs with upside like Joshua would be wise. He also would fit in nicely with the Flyers' love for tougher players.
