3 Potential Free-Agent Destinations for Dakota Joshua

Dakota Joshua will be a very popular player in free agency if the Vancouver Canucks can't get him re-signed by July 1. This is because he not only provides solid secondary scoring, but he also plays an incredibly heavy game. Because of this, let's discuss three teams who could look to sign Joshua this summer.

Toronto Maple Leafs: The Toronto Maple Leafs have already been linked to Joshua, and there is an expectation that they will pursue him this summer. With the Maple Leafs needing more toughness, it makes sense that they want to land Joshua. He would be a nice fit in their top nine and could work on their power play if signed.

Nashville Predators: The Nashville Predators will look to improve their forward group this summer. They took a big step forward this season and have the potential to be a bigger threat in 2023-24. Their lineup could use some more sandpaper, so don't be surprised if the are in the mix for Joshua.

Ottawa Senators: The Ottawa Senators have also been connected to Joshua, and it is understandable. They need more secondary scoring, and Joshua would give them that. He would also give them more grit, which is never a bad thing for a team with playoff aspirations.
