Golden Knights' Mark Stone leaves Game 3 injured vs. Oilers
The Vegas Golden Knights Game 3 victory came at a cost. While Reilly Smith ended the contest with under a second left in the game, there's growing concerns about the fact forward Mark Stone left the contest early on, due to an upper-body injury.

Stone left the game with six minutes to go in the opening frame, after he appeared to slip, and make contact with Oilers forward Corey Perry's leg. Entering Game 3, Stone had four goals and four assists for eight points in eight playoff games this spring. During the 2024-25 regular season, Stone scored 19 goals and recorded 48 assists – a new career high for assists – for 67 points in 66 games.

Stone's had a tough time staying healthy throughout his career, so there's cause for concern after another injury has crept into the picture. When healthy, Stone is one of the best playoff performers of his era, recording 85 points in 111 career Stanley Cup Playoff games, including winning a Stanley Cup with the Golden Knights in 2023.
