Foerster's entry-level with the Flyers ended at the completion of the 2024-25 season. Now, he has landed this multi-year deal with the Flyers and has gotten a nice raise to go along with it.
Foerster, 23, is coming off a strong season with the Flyers. In 81 games with the Metro Division club, he set new career highs with 25 goals, 18 assists, and 43 points. This is after he had 20 goals, 33 points, and an even/plus minus rating in 77 contests with Philly during the 2023-24 campaign. Overall, the 6-foot-2 forward took a nice step in the right direction this season and is continuing to be a key part of the Flyers' forward group in the process.
Foerster was selected by the Flyers with the 23rd overall pick of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. In 166 career NHL games over three seasons with the Flyers, he has posted 48 goals, 35 assists, 83 points, 189 hits, and a minus-7 rating. It will be interesting to see how he improves upon these numbers after earning this new contract from here.
