NHL Rumors: 3 Anaheim Ducks Trade Candidates For 2025 Offseason

John Gibson, Anaheim Ducks

The Anaheim Ducks should be a busy team this offseason. The expectation is that they will be making some changes to their roster as they look to take that next step. Because of this, let's go over three Ducks players who could be traded this summer.

Trevor Zegras

Zegras is long overdue for a fresh start, and it will be intriguing to see if the Ducks finally give him one this offseason. He has been the subject of trade rumors for quite some time now, and there's no question that teams looking for help in their top six should target him this summer.

John Gibson

Like Zegras, Gibson has been discussed in the rumor mill for multiple years. He is ready for a change of scenery and the Ducks are open to giving him that, so he will certainly be a player to watch this offseason. The Carolina Hurricanes and Edmonton Oilers have been connected to him in the past.

Ryan Strome

Teams looking for a little bit more secondary offensive production could make a push for Strome this summer. The veteran forward has two years remaining on his contract, so he would be more than a rental for any teams looking for help down the middle. In 82 games this season with the Ducks, he posted 10 goals, 41 points, and a minus-3 rating.
