NHL Rumors: 3 Potential Free-Agent Destinations For Brock Boeser
Brock Boeser is one of the top forwards who can become an unrestricted free agent on July 1. While the possibility of the Vancouver Canucks trying to re-sign him is still there, there is also certainly a chance that they could lose him this summer.
If Boeser does test the market, look for these three teams to be in the mix for his services.
Carolina Hurricanes
The Hurricanes could use another high-impact sniper in their top six, so don't be surprised if they pursue Boeser if he hits the market. When looking at their lineup, he could be an awesome fit on their second line and work well on their power play.
Minnesota Wild
The Wild have long been linked to Boeser, and they should in the mix for his services if he becomes a free agent this July. It is no secret that their top six could use a real boost, and Boeser would certainly give them just that. Boeser is also a Minnesota native, which could help the Wild's chances of landing him.
Los Angeles Kings
The Kings also should be watched if Boeser becomes available this offseason. They need help at the right wing position, and Boeser is one of the wingers who can become a free agent. Thus, if he does not re-sign with the Canucks, look for the Kings to make a big-time push for the 2015 first-round pick.
