NHL Rumors: 3 Potential Trade Destinations For Ducks' Trevor Zegras
Anaheim Ducks forward Trevor Zegras has been the subject of trade rumors for quite some time now, and that is expected to carry over to this off-season. It is fair to argue that the 24-year-old forward could use a change of scenery, and he could finally get one this summer.
Due to this, let's discuss three teams who could look to acquire Zegras this offseason.
Montreal Canadiens
The Canadiens have been connected to Zegras in the past, and it would not be surprising in the slightest if they made a major push for him this summer. It is clear that they could use another top-six center, and Zegras could give them just that. Furthermore, at 24 years old, he could be a long-term fit for a Canadiens team on the rise.
Boston Bruins
The Bruins need young talent as they continue their rebuild. With this and the club having serious trouble down the middle, a skilled forward like Zegras could grab their attention this offseason. He could make some real magic playing with a superstar forward like David Pastrnak.
Pittsburgh Penguins
The Penguins could be another interesting new home for Zegras. It is no secret that the Pens are getting older and could use some younger skilled players as they look to get their team back on track. Bringing in a player like Zegras could be a nice step in the right direction for Pittsburgh on that front.
