Wild Rumors: 3 Potential Trade Destinations For Marco Rossi

Marco Rossi, Minnesota Wild

Minnesota Wild forward Marco Rossi is one of the top trade candidates in the NHL as we continue to inch closer to the offseason. The young forward has been the subject of trade rumors for quite some time now, and him being a restricted free agent this summer is only adding to them.

Due to this, let's look at three teams who could try to acquire Rossi this summer now.

Vancouver Canucks

The Canucks could use another top-six center, so a player like Rossi could certainly grab their attention. He could slot very nicely as their second-line center under Elias Pettersson and would give them another strong weapon for their power play if acquired.

Chicago Blackhawks

The Blackhawks need to get Connor Bedard more offensive help, and bringing in a player like Rossi could be a great way to help with that. Rossi would give Chicago another impactful top-six forward and would be a strong fit for their rebuild, as he is only 23 years old.
Buffalo Sabres.

Detroit Red Wings

Keep an eye on the Red Wings when it comes to Rossi. They have had trouble finding a true second-line center to play under Dylan Larkin, and acquiring Rossi could help fix that ongoing issue. Furthermore, he would give their forward group a nice boost, which would be good for a Red Wings team looking to take that next step and get back into the playoffs.
