NHL Rumors: 3 Potential Offseason Suitors For Ivan Provorov

Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Ivan Provorov is one of the most notable blueliners who can hit the free-agent market on July 1. If he does become a free agent this summer, these three teams could end up targeting him.

Detroit Red Wings

The Red Wings stand out as a prime potential suitor for Provorov. They should be looking to improve the left side of their defense, and signing Provorov would be a good way to do just that. When looking at their current defensive group, he would provide them with an upgrade to the left side of their second pairing and would be an obvious choice for their power play.

Chicago Blackhawks
