NHL Rumors: 3 Blackhawks Trade Candidates For 2025 NHL Offseason
The Chicago Blackhawks could be in for a busy summer after not taking a step forward with their rebuild in 2024-25. The expectation is that there will be some changes to be made to their roster, so let's look at three of their top trade candidates for this offseason now.
Connor Murphy
Murphy is continuing to create chatter in the rumor mill with June now here. The right-shot defenseman is no stranger to trade talk, and this will only continue now that he is entering the final season of his contract. Teams love steady right-shot defenseman like him, so he could generate a ton of interest, especially from contenders.
Lukas Reichel
Reichel is struggling to find his fit with the Blackhawks and could benefit from a change of scenery at this juncture. With Reichel being a former first-round pick, there could be some clubs out there willing to take a shot on him. In 70 games this season, the 6-foot forward recorded eight goals, 22 points, and a minus-16 rating.
Jason Dickinson
Dickinson could be another name to keep an eye on this summer. He is entering the final season of his deal and will be a pending unrestricted free agent, so Chicago could listen to offers for the veteran forward. He could be a popular target for clubs needing help in their bottom six.
