NHL Trade Rumor: Calgary Flames listening to trade offers on Nazem Kadri

The Calgary Flames have a lot on their plate right now as GM Craig Conroy is working the phones, involved in several trade talks. While most of the attention is on defenceman Rasmus Andersson, it turns out teams continue to call about Nazem Kadri.

Kadri, who turns 35 to start next season, recorded 35 goals and 67 points in 82 games last season. It was his third straight season playing all 82 games, as in 2023-24, he posted 75 points. Kadri hasn't missed a game for the Flames since signing a mega-contract coming off a Stanley Cup win with the Colorado Avalanche, but unfortunately, also hasn't made the playoffs. While he holds a no-movement clause, there's some speculation he's open to a trade to try and get back onto a Cup contender.

There's been rumblings the Toronto Maple Leafs have inquired, there's also some talks that the Colorado Avalanche are considering bringing him back via trade. Meanwhile, don't sleep on the Boston Bruins, Carolina Hurricanes, Los Angeles Kings, and Winnipeg Jets.

Kadri and Andersson are the two Flames who are most likely to be moved at this point, as Conroy has some big decisions to make this summer in Calgary.
