The 40-year-old Perry signed a one-year, $2 million contract as a free agent with the Kings earlier this summer, after a successful season and a half with the Edmonton Oilers. Perry scored 19 goals in 81 regular-season games last year, and really stepped it up as a crucial contributor for the Oilers in the playoffs, with 10 goals in 22 games.
Perry has already ingrained himself in the LA community, throwing out the first pitch at a Dodgers game last week.
