NHL News: Florida Panthers Sign Noah Gregor To PTO

According to Sports 1440's Jason Gregor, the Florida Panthers have signed forward Noah Gregor to a professional tryout (PTO).

With the Panthers dealing with injury trouble, it is understandable that they are inviting a veteran forward like Gregor to their training camp on a PTO. The 2016 fourth-round pick will now look to impress during his PTO in hopes of landing a contract for the season.

Gregor split this past season between the Ottawa Senators and San Jose Sharks, where he recorded four goals, seven points, and 94 hits. This was after he posted six goals, six assists, 12 points, and 147 hits in 63 contests with the Toronto Maple Leafs during the 2023-24 season.

Gregor has appeared in 293 career NHL games over six seasons split between the Sharks, Maple Leafs, and Senators, where he has recorded 36 goals, 34 assists, 70 points, and 553 hits. It will now be interesting to see if he will earn a contract for the season from the Panthers and get the chance to improve upon these career stats from here.
