NHL Rumors: 3 Nashville Predators Trade Candidates To Watch
The Nashville Predators have had a tough start to the 2025-26 season, as their 5-6-4 record shows. If they do not turn things around soon, they could once again be sellers this season.
Due to this, let's look at three Nashville players who could be on the move by the 2026 NHL trade deadline.
Steven Stamkos
Stamkos has had a nightmare start to the 2025-26 season, recording just two goals and one assist in 15 games. This has led to the 35-year-old forward being the subject of trade rumors. He has had trouble finding his fit with Nashville and could benefit from a change of scenery.
Jonathan Marchessault
Marchessault could be another player to watch if the Predators do not get things back on track. The veteran winger was a popular name in the rumor mill during the summer and would be a nice pickup for a team looking for offense. However, he has a full no-movement clause, so he would need to give the green light for any potential trade.
Ryan O'Reilly
O'Reilly has been discussed in the rumor mill for quite some time. If he is made available by the Predators near the deadline, there is no question that he would generate a ton of interest due to his strong two-way play and playoff experience.
