NHL Trade Rumors: 3 Blues Who Could Be On The Move
After making the playoffs last season, the St. Louis Blues have had a rough start to the 2025-26 campaign. They currently have a 4-7-2 record and are at the very bottom of the Central Division standings.
If the Blues continue to struggle and find themselves outside of the playoff line once the deadline is here, they will very likely be sellers. Because of this, let's look at three Blues who could get dealt this season.
Brayden Schenn
Schenn's name was incredibly popular in the rumor leading up to the 2025 NHL trade deadline. While the Blues kept him around, it is certainly fair to wonder if they could listen to offers for him again if things don't improve. There is no question that the 34-year-old center could get the Blues a nice return in a potential move, as contenders love players like him.
Oskar Sundqvist
Sundqvist would be a pending unrestricted free agent (UFA) to watch if the Blues do not turn things back around this season. The 31-year-old forward would be a nice pickup for teams looking for more depth down the middle. The 6-foot-3 forward is also off to a solid start in 2025-26, recording five assists in seven games.
Alexey Toropchenko
Playoff teams love to add big, hard-nosed forwards at the deadline, so a player like Toropchenko could generate interest if made available. The 6-foot-6 winger is a pending UFA and would be a solid rental for a contender to add to their bottom six.
