NHL Trade Rumors: 3 Landing Spots For Flames' Blake Coleman

Blake Coleman, Calgary Flames

It has been a nightmare season for the Calgary Flames so far. Because of this, multiple of their players have come up in the rumor mill early on this campaign. Among them is Blake Coleman.

Due to this, let's discuss three teams who could consider pursuing Coleman this season if he is officially made available.

Tampa Bay Lightning

Coleman had an awesome two-year stint with the Lightning, where he played a role in the Bolts winning back-to-back Stanley Cups. With the Lightning needing more offense, bringing back Coleman could benefit them tremendously. He could slot perfectly in their top nine, especially when noting that he can play multiple positions.

Anaheim Ducks

The Ducks have had a nice start to the season, and they are in a position to add. This is especially so when noting that they have $12 million of cap space. If they brought in Coleman, they would bring in a forward who not only can produce offensively but also provide them with more grit and another penalty killer.

Utah Mammoth

The Mammoth should be looking to add to their roster with how well they have started this season. Utah looks like a legitimate playoff team, so they could make a lot of sense as a landing spot for Coleman. He would give them a player with plenty of playoff experience who could help mentor their younger players.
