NHL Trade Rumors: Blues' Robert Thomas trade down to 2 teams
The St. Louis Blues are involved in advanced trade talks on Robert Thomas, and by the sounds of it, two serious suitors have emerged as the heavy favorites.
If Thomas is dealt before Friday's deadline, expect to see either the Boston Bruins or Utah Mammoth the trade-deadline winners. The Bruins are offering top prospects in return for Thomas, including Matthew Poitras and Dean Letourneau. They don't see interested moving James Hagens at this time.
The Mammoth have Tij Iginla and Cole Beaudoin who the Blues would love to get their hands on. The Mammoth won't include both, but certainly will have to give up one of the best prospects to facilitate the deal.
Per @FriedgeHNIC there’s a decent chance Robert Thomas is traded by Friday’s deadline. 👀

Another sneaky team to keep an eye on - New York Islanders. They have Cole Eiserman and Kashawn Aitcheson, who the Blues would love to get their hands on, and there's been multiple reports the Isles would love to land one of Thomas, or Jordan Kyrou.
Darren Dreger: I wasn't convinced that Robby Thomas was going to get traded, as of last night, I think that it's more likely he gets traded based on the interest in him; Utah among the teams that are pretty eager - Barn Burner (2/27)
After Thomas, the Blues are most likely to move Justin Faulk, Colton Parayko, Brayden Schenn, and then Kyrou and Jordan Binnington feel like summertime deals at this point.
