3 Free-Agent Destinations for Kraken's Bobby McMann
Seattle Kraken forward Bobby McMann is one of the NHL's top pending unrestricted free agents (UFAs) heading into the summer. The Kraken will certainly be looking to keep him around, as he has thrived since his arrival to Seattle. His eight goals and 12 points in 13 games for Seattle show that.
Yet, if the Kraken are unable to extend McMann and he becomes a UFA this offseason, these three teams should be in the mix for his services.
Edmonton Oilers
The Oilers were heavily linked to McMann leading up to the deadline, and it would not be surprising if they tried to sign him during the offseason. They need another impactful top-nine forward, and McMann would provide them with just that. His 27 goals, 44 points, and 159 hits this season, split between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Kraken, make that perfectly clear.
Tampa Bay Lightning
The Lightning could be a team to watch when it comes to McMann this offseason. It is no secret that they could use another skilled middle-six winger, so it would make sense if they tried to sign McMann during the summer. He would be a great fit on a top contender like the Bolts, as he not only contributes offensively, but also plays a heavy game.
Buffalo Sabres
The Sabres have been a great story this season and could very well look to add to their roster during the offseason to try to get even better. The Sabres could use a solid top-nine forward who provides a bit of everything, like McMann, so it would be understandable if they targeted him in free agency this offseason.
