3 Philadelphia Flyers Potential Offseason Goalie Targets

Connor Ingram, Edmonton Oilers

The Philadelphia Flyers should be looking to add another backup or 1B goalie this offseason. Samuel Ersson has struggled as the team's backup this season, as evidenced by his .867 save percentage and his 3.15 goals-against average in 31 games this season.

Due to this, let's look at three goalies who the Flyers should consider targeting this summer to form a strong tandem with Dan Vladar.

Stuart Skinner, Pittsburgh Penguins

If the Penguins do not re-sign Skinner, he is a goaltender who could grab the Flyers' attention. The 27-year-old would have the potential to be a nice upgrade over Ersson as the Flyers' backup. He also would give the Flyers a goalie with plenty of playoff experience, which would not be a bad thing for a Philadelphia club on the rise.

Connor Ingram, Edmonton Oilers

Connor Ingram is another pending UFA goalie who could make sense for the Flyers if he hits the market. The 29-year-old has had a bit of a bounce-back year with the Oilers and could be a solid addition to the Flyers' roster because of it. He also had a .907 save percentage in both 2022-23 and 2023-24, so he can be very solid when playing at his best.

Anthony Stolarz, Toronto Maple Leafs

The Flyers would be wise to try to reunite with Stolarz during this offseason. With the Maple Leafs having Joseph Woll and Dennis Hildeby, Stolarz could be a goalie who the Maple Leafs are open to moving during the summer. If they do shop him, he would make a lot of sense as a target for the Flyers. He could be a strong 1B for them if successfully acquired.
