NHL Rumors: 3 Offseason Trade Fits for Jets' Cole Perfetti
Winnipeg Jets forward Cole Perfetti could be a trade candidate to keep an eye on this summer. The 24-year-old forward is a pending restricted free agent and has been in the rumor mill for a while now.
Because of this, let's take a look at three teams that could look to acquire Perfetti if the Jets shop him this offseason.
New Jersey Devils
The Devils should be on the hunt for forward help this offseason. Due to this, it would make sense if they brought in a versatile forward with skill like Perfetti. If they acquired him, he would give them another option to work with on their top line with Jack Hughes and Jesper Bratt.
San Jose Sharks
The Sharks could also be a team that makes a push for Perfetti during the summer. With Perfetti being a young forward with good upside, he could perform well on a team on the rise like the Sharks. If they acquired him, he would give them another option for both their power play and their top six.
Chicago Blackhawks
The Blackhawks could use more help in their top six, and a player like Perfetti has the potential to grab their attention because of it. At 24 years old, he could be a good long-term fit on the rebuilding Blackhawks as they look to take that next step. He also would give Connor Bedard another skilled winger to work with, which is a big offseason priority for Chicago.
