The 29-year-old Roslovic is coming off back-to-back 20-goal seasons, after finding the net 21 times with the Edmonton Oilers this past year, with 36 points in 69 games.
The Leafs tried to land Roslovic in free agency last summer as well, but never came to terms.Roslovic is a former first-round pick of the Winnipeg Jets (2015 NHL Draft, 25th overall), but never really found his footing there in four seasons. He's since gone on to his hometown team in Columbus, where he notched a 22-goal season in 2021-22. He struggled for the next two years there, but bounced back in Carolina in 2024-25 with another 22-goal season, before last year's success with Edmonton.
There's a report that Roslovic is good friends with Auston Matthews, which could have been a factor in getting this signing done.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Leafs bid farewell to forward Nick Robertson, but have more than recouped that scoring for now, with Roslovic.
