BREAKING: New Jersey Devils Fired Ray Shero

Some surprising news out of New Jersey this evening, as the team has decided to give their general manager the hook.
The New Jersey Devils have relieved Ray Shero of his duties, with Tom Fitzgerald filling in as interim general manager.

Along with this, it has been reported that former Devils Martin Brodeur will be joining the Devils' department of hockey operations, though his specific role is unspecified as of now.

The Devils were considered a dark horse to make the playoffs, after the acquisition of P.K. Subban, Nikita Gusev, Wayne Simmonds, and Jack Hughes. Sadly, the team never got anything going, and the Devils now sit near the bottom of the league.
