Report: Ryan Miller Considering Retirement

Ryan Miller has had a legendary NHL career. He won a Silver Medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics and won MVP of the tournament. He proceeded to represent Team USA at the 2014 Winter Olympics as well. In addition, he was the 2010 Vezina Trophy winner and is the winningest American-born goaltender in NHL history. Miller is unsure whether he will return for an 18th season or if he will retire from the game.
Ryan Miller will always be remembered as a Buffalo Sabre. He was an integral member of that franchise and rode through the good times and the bad times (sometimes VERY bad). He has played a fantastic backup role to John Gibson in Anaheim for the past three seasons.

He is currently an unrestricted free agent, but Anaheim Ducks General Manager Bob Murray has invited Miller to come and "work out the kinks."

"I've taken care of myself in my career. I think everything is in a good place. I just kind of need the hockey environment to be right. It has to be somewhere I can fit in. We also got to have a season that makes sense."
Murray stated that he was only too happy to help Miller decide if he wants to keep playing by skating a bit. He stated that Miller has earned that from the Ducks organization, but has no idea about his future at this time.
