Predators Poised To Make Multiple Trades

The Nashville Predators currently sit 6-9-0 record which is good for 27th best in the league and it's becoming more evident from insiders around the NHL, the team will be sellers at the deadline.

The likes of pending free-agents like Erik Haula and Mikael Granlund will certainly be moved at the deadline for some assets, and other long-time Predators like Mattias Ekholm and even Pekka Rinne have been rumored to be generating interest from other teams.

One name to watch out for once they come back from injury is Ryan Johansen. A player that's fallen off a bit over the last couple of seasons and currently has no goals and four assists in 10 games. Last season the 28-year-old finished with 36 points in 68 games. With four-years left on his deal at $8 million a season on the cap it's going to take some creativity for Johansen to be moved, but given his age and skill set, there's certain to be interest.

The Preds are in a state of repair at the moment and long-time executive David Poile may finally have to start selling off some of his players to fully hit the rebuild button in Smashville.
