3 Moves The Los Angeles Kings Should Make This Summer

The Los Angeles Kings have already been busy this summer, as they acquired Viktor Arvidsson from the Nashville Predators and extended Trevor Moore. They definitely are a team worth following this off-season, as they have cap space to work with and are looking to move out of their rebuilding phase. There is plenty to do though for this to come into fruition.

Here are three moves they should make this summer.

Add Top-Six Winger: It has already been established that the Kings are looking to add another top-six winger. This would be a very smart move, as they could use more firepower upfront. There are so many free agent options on the wing for them to choose from, so it will not be too surprising if they end up adding a guy through this route. However, if they fail to, they will be looking to make a trade for one. Vladimir Tarasenko, Tyler Bertuzzi and Jake DeBrusk are some players reportedly on the trade block.

Add Left-Handed Defenseman: The Kings also have enough money to add a respectable left-handed defenseman, too. There are plenty of notable free agent defenseman who fit this description well. Ryan Suter, Mike Reilly and old friend Alec Martinez are just a few examples. Adding a someone who can strengthen the top-four would be a very wise move on their part.

Add Bottom-Six Forward: Signing a bottom-six forward should also be something that the Kings consider. They have some solid prospects, but adding a veteran for insurance would not be a bad thing. Perhaps they could try to bring in a notable fourth-liner like Casey Cizikas. There are plenty of other players available who could fill the role, too.
