2 Potential Landing Spots for Tyler Bozak

Veteran forward Tyler Bozak remains without a contract as we approach the middle of August. Not ideal circumstances for the center who has 764 NHL games under his belt. While the offers don't appear to be appealing at the moment, that could change with a little sense of urgency to get something done before training camp in September.

Bozak Could End Up With One of These 2 Teams:

New Jersey Devils:  There remains to be interest from the Blues, however other teams have ramped up their efforts to sway the 35-year-old to take a one-year deal with their team. This includes the Devils who are looking for a third-line center and Bozak could fit the bill. He's a decent penalty killer and if his foot speed can not take a step back next season, could be a key contributor in New Jersey.

Montreal Canadiens: While Bozak would likely be open to a return to the Toronto Maple Leafs, he may have to settle for their arch rivals. Montreal is looking for some veteran depth at center and will likely wait until closer to training camp to save a few bucks. Bozak knows the Habs very well and could slide into their third-line next season. Leafs Nation would be rattled to see 'Bozie' in red, blue and white, but at the end of the day he wants to stay in the league and is going to be open-minded for his next deal.
