3 Possible Destinations For Max Domi

The Columbus Blue Jackets are currently shopping Max Domi. The 26-year-old has one year remaining on his contract and is set to be an unrestricted free agent during the summer. Columbus certainly should get plenty of interest around the league for his services, as he's a solid middle-six forward who has had some impressive offensive spurts over his career. This season has been a pretty good one for him, too, as he has eight goals and 16 points in 23 games thus far.

Here are three teams that should pursue him.

Pittsburgh Penguins: It wouldn't hurt for the Penguins to add another forward to their group, especially with all of the injury trouble they have had this season. However, they have been overcoming all obstacles this campaign, as they now have a 20-9-5 record and are 9-1-0 over their last 10 games. Since Domi can play both on the wing and at center, he could provide them with multiple options - especially on the third line.

Nashville Predators: Like we reported earlier, the Nashville Predators have a ton of cap space to work with and should be big buyers at the deadline. At this time, they sport a 23-11-2 record and are first place in the Central Division. Yet, Nashville could use a little more scoring power in their middle-six, so they truly could be a perfect fit for a guy like Domi.

Los Angeles Kings: The Los Angeles Kings are making a push to be a playoff team this spring. At this time, they have a 17-13-5 record are just one point behind the Calgary Flames for the third-place spot in the Pacific Division. If they keep this pace of play up, it wouldn't be surprising to see them make additions at the deadline. Their forward group could use a bit of jolt in the middle-six as well. Thus, it wouldn't be surprising to see them add Domi before the deadline passes.
