NHL Rumors: 3 Potential Landing Spots For Max Comtois

After leading the Anaheim Ducks with 33 points in 55 games during the 2020-21 season, Max Comtois followed that up with a very rough campaign. In 52 games this year, he had just six goals and 10 assists. With that, he was a healthy scratch multiple times and is expected to be shopped this summer. Let's look at three teams who should take a chance on the 23-year-old.

Montreal Canadiens: The Canadiens had the worst record in the NHL last season and will be making changes to their roster because of it. Comtois is a forward who certainly could grab their attention. Besides the obvious fact that he is a Quebec native, he also is still young enough that he could be a perfect fit for their rebuilding period.

Ottawa Senators:
The Senators are looking to take that a step forward next season and compete for a playoff spot. Comtois could be a perfect addition to their roster if he can rebound from here. If he can find the 2020-21 version of himself, he would work marvelously in the club's top six.

Nashville Predators: After getting swept by the Avalanche in the first round, the Predators should look to switch up their roster for next season. At a minimum, a retool needs to be in order, and Comtois is the kind of young player who could be excellent for it.
