Canucks Sign Forward

The Canucks have signed Curtis Lazar to a three-year, $3 million contract.

Although Lazar expressed interest in staying with the Bruins, their lack of cap space did not allow that to occur. Now, he will be heading to Vancouver and should be a very solid addition to their bottom six.

In 70 games this past season, Lazar scored eight goals and recorded 16 points, He also had a career-high 186 hits, so it's fair to say that he plays a very physical game, too. Overall, although this signing is not a blockbuster, it still has the potential to be a good one for Vancouver. Let's see how Lazar performs from here.
