Buffalo Sabres Defenseman Out Week-to-Week

The Buffalo Sabres have announced that Jacob Bryson will be out week-to-week due to a lower-body injury.

With the Sabres desperately trying to back into the playoff race, losing Bryson for the next few weeks at least is not ideal in the slightest. The 25-year-old defenseman has had a year of mixed results so far, as he has a decent six points in 20 games but also a minus-13 rating. Still, losing a mainstay in their top six is certainly not what Buffalo needed right now.

Alas, here's to hoping that Bryson can have a speedy recovery and not suffer any setbacks regarding his injury. Time will tell what happens on that front.
