Boston Bruins Make Roster Moves

The Boston Bruins are switching up their forward group just a tad. Chris Wagner has been sent back down to the Providence Bruins, while Joona Koppanen has gotten the call to join the NHL squad.

Wagner was called up to the Bruins following Jake DeBrusk's placement on long-term injured reserve, but now the veteran winger is heading right back to Providence after just one game played. During his lone contest, he failed to record a point. Now, the 31-year-old winger will be relied upon again as a veteran presence for the AHL squad.

Koppanen, on the other hand, has had a strong season with Providence, as he has five goals and 19 points in 34 games. Now, the 6-foot-5 forward has landed this sweet promotion with Boston because of it, and he will be aiming to make a difference during it from here.
