Nashville Predators Rumors: 3 Favorites to Land Tanner Jeannot

The Nashville Predators have a number of players who have become trade candidates this season and one Pred who is drawing a ton of interest is forward Tanner Jeannot. The bang-and-crash winger is a pending free agent making only $800,000 and is on the radar of several teams ahead of the March 3 deadline. The favorites to land Jeannot include:

Pittsburgh Penguins

The Penguins are looking to add another forward before the trade deadline and would love to add more of the style of play Jeannot brings each and every night. While the offensive number have dipped this season, Jeannot has shown in the past he's capable of 20-plus goals and loves to throw his body around. Very much a Brian Burke/Ron Hextall type of player.

Toronto Maple Leafs

The Maple Leafs are still considering their trade options ahead of the deadline, even with them trading four draft picks in their latest blockbuster. GM Kyle Dubas has a number of prospects who he can dangle as the team tries to balance out their bottom six. Jeannot would be a nice addition for the Leafs roster and someone who could be an impact player on the team's third line.

Boston Bruins

The Bruins are in on a few things ahead of the deadline as it's likely they add to their bottom six and blue line. Jeannot fits the Bruins style of play as he's in your face and loves an intense two-way game. After missing out on Bo Horvat, the Bruins have been linked to Jeannot and could make an offer before March 3.
