NHL Rumors: Golden Knights Accused Of Sabotaging Jets Workout Equipment

It seems that the Vegas Golden Knights just can't resist getting up to some shenanigans, even during the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Apparently, during the team's visit to T-Mobile Arena to kick off the first round of the playoffs, the Golden Knights decided to play some dirty tricks on the Winnipeg Jets.

According to Elliotte Friedman on his 32 Thoughts Podcast, they removed all the pedals from the stationary bikes reserved for the Jets' players in the training room, effectively sabotaging their workout routine.

This is not the first time the Golden Knights have been accused of such actions, as they were also reported to have turned off the lights during a Jets practice session in 2018.

Despite all this, the Jets managed to triumph in the first game of the series, winning 5-1 and making the Golden Knights look pretty foolish. It remains to be seen whether Vegas will continue with their sneaky tactics in future games, but one thing's for sure – they're not exactly winning any popularity contests with these antics.

These actions have only fueled the growing reputation of the Golden Knights as one of the most disliked teams in the NHL. Despite their success in reaching the Stanley Cup Finals in 2018, the team's behavior has caused many fans across the league to view them unfavorably. Photo Credit: Stephen R.
