Seattle Kraken Sign Young Prospect To Entry Level Deal

The Seattle Kraken have had an incredible 2022/23 campaign, their second in the NHL as a franchise, and with higher ambitions in the coming weeks, it's clear that this is an organization that could very well become a powerhouse in the Western Conference.

Not only do they have a fun, deep team that's competing right now, but they've got some talented young prospects for the future, and on Thursday, they solidified that future by signing 2022 second-round draft pick Jagger Forks to a three-year, entry-level contract.

The 19-year old forward has put up 88 points (40 goals, 48 assists) in 66 games for the Moose Jaw Warriors in the WHL, and while it's unlikely he joins the ranks in the NHL next year, he's definitely expected to be a key piece of their future.
