Ducks Rumors: 3 Teams Expected to Target Frank Vatrano

Anaheim Ducks forward Frank Vatrano is having the best season of his NHL career. He was recently named to his first All-Star and is performing very well in the goal scoring department. As a result of this, he has been picking up a lot of steam in the rumor mill as of late and is a prime trade candidate for the upcoming deadline. Here are three teams who are expected to target the skilled winger now.

Carolina Hurricanes: The Carolina Hurricanes are going to look to make upgrades to their roster at the deadline. One area they could look to improve is their middle six, as they could use more scoring in that part of their lineup. Because of this, don't be surprised if they enter the Vatrano sweepstakes.

New York Rangers: The New York Rangers are a team to watch very closely at the deadline when it comes to Vatrano. He fit in nicely there during his brief stay with them a few seasons back, so it would not be surprising if they considered bringing him in again. He would improve their top six and give them another scorer on their right side, which is something that they need.

New York Islanders: The New York Islanders are another team who could look to add Vatrano. He would fit in nicely on their second line and also give their power play a notable boost. Because of this, they are another team to watch very closely in the sweepstakes from here.
