St. Louis Blues: Best Addition & Worst Subtraction Of 2025 NHL Offseason
The NHL season is just about here, which is undoubtedly exciting news for hockey fans. Due to this, we here at NHL Trade Rumors will be starting a series looking at each team's best addition and worst subtraction of the 2025 NHL off-season.
In this latest edition of the series, we will be taking a look at the St. Louis Blues.
Best Addition: Pius Suter
The Blues needed help at the center position, and they addressed it big time this summer by signing Pius Suter. The 29-year-old forward should now give the Blues' middle six a nice boost as they look to continue to trend in the right direction. In 81 games this past season with the Vancouver Canucks, he set career highs with 25 goals and 46 points in 81 games.
Worst Subtraction: Zack Bolduc
The Blues' most notable subtraction this offseason is Zack Bolduc. While the Blues landed a promising prospect defenseman in Logan Mailloux from the Montreal Canadiens in the trade, they will miss Bolduc next season. The 22-year-old broke out nicely this past season for St. Louis, as he recorded career highs with 19 goals, 17 assists, and 36 points in 72 games. However, with the Blues needing help on defense, Bolduc became expendable.
