The combative, 6'4", 220-pound defenseman had one assist in three games for France, with a whopping 33 penalty minutes.
Canada's Tom Wilson took on Crinon mano-a-mano after the French player laid a huge hit on Nathan MacKinnon. Both players were handed game misconducts.

The Federation, however, said Crinon's banishment was not for the scrap, but rather for taunting Canadian fans after being expelled from the game as he left the Milano Santaguilia Arena.
The IIHF had already decided on no further discipline on the players after the fight.
But Pierre-Yves Gerbeau, president of the French Ice Hockey Federation (FFHG), said that Crinon's actions constituted “a clear violation of the Olympic spirit and also undermines the values of our sport.”
Canada won the game 10-2.
France will face Germany on Tuesday in an elimination game. The winner will take on Slovakia in the quarterfinals.
