Arizona Coyotes Rumors: Forward Being Linked to Wild

The Minnesota Wild are aiming to cement themselves as a playoff team for this spring, and they are expected to be buyers at the 2023 NHL Trade Deadline because of it. Although they are currently looking to acquire another top-six forward, it also appears that they are looking to add to their bottom six, as there are reportedly interested in Arizona Coyotes forward Nick Ritchie.

Ritchie is one of the many rental candidates currently on the Coyotes who is expected to find a new home before March 3 passes. It ultimately makes sense, as he has shown that he can provide decent secondary scoring to go along with a plethora of physicality while in a bottom-six role. This is something that the Wild would benefit from adding to their group, so it makes sense that Ritchie is on their radar.

In 51 games this season, Ritchie has nine goals, 21 points, and 36 penalty minutes. Overall, with numbers like these, he could work well on Minnesota's third or fourth line. We will need to wait and see if their interest in the 27-year-old winger results in them acquiring him from here.
