Tampa Bay Lightning Rumors: 3 Offseason Trade Candidates

Welcome to NHL Trade Rumors' Offseason Trade Candidates series. During it, we will be looking at three players from each team who could be moved during the summer.

In this latest piece, we will be focusing on the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Ross Colton: Ross Colton is a player to pay attention to on the trade market this summer. He is a pending restricted free agent who will be looking for a raise from his current $1.125 million cap hit. With Tampa Bay having limited cap space and fellow pending RFA Tanner Jeannot to sign, they could decide to trade Colton.

Philippe Myers: The Lightning acquired Philippe Myers last offseason in hopes that the change of scenery would help him get his career back on track. Unfortunately, things did not work out that way for him, as he is in the AHL with the Syracuse Crunch. Due to this and his $2.55 million cap hit, don't be surprised to see him shopped.

Haydn Fleury: Haydn Fleury is another Lightning defenseman who could be on the move this offseason. The former top prospect has struggled in his first season with the Lightning, as he has just one assist to go along with a minus-9 rating. Due to this, his placement on their depth chart has fallen, so perhaps a trade could be in the cards for him.
