Canucks Rumors: 2 Players Vancouver Could End Up Losing This Offseason
After a tough 2024-25 season, the Vancouver Canucks are preparing for what should be a busy summer. There is a real possibility that their roster could see some notable changes, especially when noting that they have multiple pending unrestricted free agents.
Due to this, let's look at two notable players the Canucks are in danger of losing this summer.
Brock Boeser
Boeser is the Canucks' most notable pending UFA, and there is a real chance that he will test the market on July 1. Losing the 28-year-old winger for nothing would be a major blow for Vancouver, as he has been one of their best forwards for multiple years now. In 75 games this season with the Canucks, he posted 25 goals and 50 points.
If the Canucks end up losing Boeser this off-season, they will undoubtedly need to work hard to find a replacement for him in their top six. Nikolaj Ehlers is one notable pending UFA who could make a lot of sense for Vancouver.
Pius Suter
There is no question that the Canucks would love to keep Suter around, as he just had a career season for them. In 81 games, he set new career highs with 25 goals and 46 points. Yet, after a season like this, the 29-year-old forward is in a position to ask for a nice raise and could very well test the market in a weak free agency class because of it.
