3 Florida Panthers Who Likely Won't Be Back Next Season

Tomas Nosek, Panthers

The injury bug completely ruined the Florida Panthers' 2025-26 season, and they missed the playoffs because of it. Now, they have several decisions to make when it comes to their roster this summer.

The Panthers are entering the offseason with many pending unrestricted free agents (UFAs). Sergei Bobrovsky and A.J. Greer are the most notable, and it is likely that the Panthers will try to keep them around if they can. However, the Panthers have a handful of other pending UFAs who likely won't be back in 2026-27. Let's discuss them now.

Tomas Nosek

It would not be surprising if the Panthers moved on from Nosek this offseason. The pending UFA was limited to only 21 games this season due to multiple injuries, where he had two goals, two assists, and a minus-8 rating. While he has been a solid bottom-six forward for the Panthers, his injury trouble could make the Panthers decide against re-signing him.

Vinnie Hinostroza

The Panthers acquired Hinostroza for future considerations back in March to improve their forward depth. In 17 games following the move with Florida, he had three goals and eight points. Overall, he was a decent depth forward with the Panthers. While this is the case, it is likely that the Panthers will let him leave in free agency since they will be healthier next season.

Noah Gregor

Gregor is another depth forward who the Panthers are likely to part ways with this offseason. The 27-year-old forward split this season between the Panthers and their AHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers. In 37 games this season with Florida, he had four goals and nine points.
