Chicago Blackhawks Making Trade Offers

The Chicago Blackhawks are going to be one of the more aggressive teams on the offseason trade market, and it's all going to kick off at the NHL Draft in Buffalo next month.

Blackhawks general manager Kyle Davidson sits at the 4th spot heading into the first-round, but many around the league know Davidson has no interest using the pick, and would much prefer to dangle the draft pick to land a winger with term on their contract to suit up beside Connor Bedard.

Bedard's growing frustrated with the amount of losing going on in Chicago since he arrived, and the Blackhawks are now starting to get a few of their big-name prospects join them from across the pond, so the time is now to hit the ground running.

Davidson's got a ton of cap space, the Blackhawks also have three second-rounder, and three first-rounders in 2027 to use as leverage, so expect to see some major trades coming from Chicago's front office.

The Blackhawks made multiple trade offers for Maple Leafs' Matthew Knies, but that's seem to have fallen through since. They'll certainly circle back at the draft, and if there's a chance the Leafs could land the 4th overall pick for Knies, they may consider due to the fact there's a boat load of defenceman available.

Don't be surprised to see Davidson offer the pick to the Ottawa Senators in a package for Brady Tkachuk, meanwhile Chicago will also have interest in New York Rangers Alex Lafreniere and Adam Fox.

A big move is coming from the Blackhawks, now we wait to see who they find to tango.
